Best & Fairest 2015
Our fearless leader Dale Laslett has once again taken out the A grade Best & Fairest Award for 2015, this being the 5th time he has won the award at the club. Sneaking in just in front of the second place and silky smooth Jarrod Wareing, and dreamboat/utility Alex Bradley in third, who both had fantastic years as well.
In a tough year for our B Grade, it was the players who put in the effort week in week out that were rewarded this year. Bordertown Brett took out the best and fairest just in front of Stevie Vandenberg in second, and Johnny “Thunder” Kondellos in third. It was a tight finish, with the final votes finishing at 42 – 41 – 40.
New-comer, Matty Cole took out the C grade award, and deservedly so – as he was at training every week, as well as filling in for B grade when he could. Co-captain, and all-round good guy, Jason Drewett took out second place, and Chad Curtis came in third returning to the club this year to play when he could.
